There are some wedding days that seem to have been made especially for photographs, and September 26, 2026, was certainly one of them. Under a brilliant blue Michigan sky and with temperatures that couldn’t have been more perfect, Kasey and Nathan celebrated a love story nearly ten years in the making. Having met in high school, their journey together brought them to this beautiful day at the stunning Atlas Valley Golf Course in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Their ceremony, beautifully officiated by their pastor, Jeremiah, was filled with the warmth, joy, and emotion that make wedding days so unforgettable. Kasey looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful gown—the only thing more beautiful than the gown was the bride herself.

For me, this wedding carried an especially meaningful connection. This was not the first time I had photographed Kasey. In fact, I had the privilege of photographing her in a portrait session when she was just four years old. To now stand behind my camera nearly two decades later and photograph her wedding day was a wonderful reminder of just how quickly the years pass and how special it is to be invited into these milestones. Tamara, and I were truly honored to be asked to capture these precious memories for Kasey and Nathan. From the quiet, emotional moments to the laughter and excitement shared with family and friends, every part of the day told a piece of their story.

As the afternoon gave way to evening, the celebration continued with a delicious meal, plenty of laughter, and a spirited night on the dance floor. Surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them throughout their journey, Kasey and Nathan began this new chapter of their lives in the very best way—with joy, celebration, and the people who mean the most to them. It was a gorgeous Michigan fall day, a beautiful wedding, and a privilege for Tamara and me to preserve it all through photographs.
